Qatar's first 787 may be delivered on Aug. 25th

I've gotten info that Qatar's first 787 MAY be delivered on August 25, this Saturday. The aircraft continues to fly test flight with a temporary US registration though I don't know why. I am trying to confirm.

Could be to do with certification of the internet connectivity equipment?

Yes that's a very plausible answer.

LN237 Air India now airborne, KCHS-KCHS, 2 hr flight planned.

Yup, I see it though I don't think it's indicative of any upcoming delivery to AI. ZA236 will be the first to be delivered.

Whats the deal with JA803A Ln7? It's marked as delivered, but there are pics of it yesterday still being serviced at Everett by Boeing techs. What are the hold ups, and when is it going on a delivery flight? I have a special interest in this plane because it's the first production model off the line and it sat around for over three years before finally taking to the air.

It should fly away tonight. They had to take of some maintenance items.
