Paris Air Show 2017 - Day 4

Boeing ended the industry portion of the 2017 Paris Air Show with a bang by announcing a mega order of 125 737 MAX 8 with 50 options from an unidentified but major customer. as well as some smaller orders from other customers.  It was a way to steal some thunder (what little there was) from Airbus as they closed out their air show with a few notable orders as well.

There weren't any more Boeing widebody order announcements though travel editor John Walton said that Boeing may have a 787-10 announcement:

I'm not sure what this is about and it is unusual especially since the industry events are all but over, but I'll be keeping my ears and eyes open for any announcement that may come.  In the meantime here's the final tally of orders (so far) from this year's Paris Air Show.

I, too, encourage you to create a blog for 797. Or expand the coverage from this blog and rename it "Plus 10" or whatever you like. Your notes and insight will always be highly anticipated and enjoyed.

I'm gonna need a whole bunch of new sources if this is to happen. Preferably people on the inside who have knowledge of stuff!

Uresh, Singapore was booked today as unidentified for 20 777X and 19 787-10's. :)

Yeah it has to be for Singapore, I can't imagine it's for anyone else esp. since they made the MoU known a few months ago for exactly those numbers!
