ZA001 flies to Canadian East Coast

On April 1st, ZA001 flew to Gander in New Foundland and I just founds out that she's in town to perform cross wind landing tests. Right now that's all the information I have and will try to dig to get some more.

ZA001 is closing on 1,000 flight hors flown and by my estimate has about 996 hours as of April 2, 2011. It can conceivably break through the 1,000 hour barrier tomorrow or Monday...Watch this space.

In the meantime, I am attempting to keep the 787 location database up to date so if anyone has anything to contribute, I appreciate any information you can send my way!

The province is spelled "Newfoundland". Technically, they went to "Newfoundland and Labrador" a few years back, but you don't usually hear that.

Anyway, glad to see you back.

I notice coinciding with your April 2 update that 1 more airframe is done with SoB mods, 1 undergoing, only 1 left waiting. The day the final 2 are complete will be a symbolic day for Boeing on how 787's development problems becoming a thing of the past. Can't wait!

IT's getting closer, the real challenge is getting all those 787 on the Everett tarmac ready for customer service.

It is great to see this wonderful aircraft getting ready for delivery.

It will be interesting to see the reaction of passengers when the 787 enters service.

Hello Uresh, Per the Paine Field Blog, LN21 was moved from Kilo North to Stall 102 yesterday. Hope you can get back to regular posting soon - we miss your insights.

Uresh,
Paine Field blog shows picture of LN08 in the ATS hangar with engines installed. This is a good sign. Not sure if they are "B" package engines. Tail# is listed as N804A, but it shows N803A in your list.
