I'm hearing from sources that Air New Zealand is doubling down on the 787.
The airlines' CEO was in Everett last week and apparently had come to an agreement to increase the airlines' 787 order but details are not available so I don't know the number or derivative(s). The CEO flew back on Air New Zealand's most recently delivered 787-9 which was delivered on October 12th.
Boeing has had a nice run of 787 orders boosting their 2016 787 sales campaign results to 61 net orders thanks to orders from mainly from China and Qatar. They can still achieve a book-to-bill greater than 1 if they can close the potential Emirates order this year.

Do you have information on the eight 787 announced earlier with Pakistan Air? Will that order proposal be completed by years end? Does Emirates have a lingering option for 787's that may turn into an Order?
Andrew, Emirates doesn't have any options on the 787 with Boeing as that requires a formal agreement with all terms (delivery dates, prices, etc.). Emirates and Boeing has not entered into any formal contract with regards to the 787. If they did Emirates would most certainly take the 787 as a firm order and not options.
Uresh - Wow - the disparity in the days from Load Date to Roll Out between Everett and Charleston is huge. I see 20,20,21 and 23 days for Everett and 34, 35 and 35 for Charleston, sampling the production listing today. Why is this, as it's a consistent two week difference? Maybe the hurricane? I thought Boeing was shut for only a few days.

Has production started?Has Rolls an advantage over GE when it comes to performance?KLM is getting 6 dash 10,s..they will stick with GE engines i guess.What about a potential 787 order from Emirates? I was reading an article that they have a really tough year now..So will there be an order this year?

Everett production rate is 7/month Charleston is at 5/month. It has nothing to do with the hurricane.
Seems like Charleston has re-combined positions 1A and 1B into position 1. Any idea if that's expected to happen in Everett?
Not a merging of positions just renumbering them. It'll happen in Everett too
So Position 4 becomes 5, 3->4, 2->3, 1B->2, 1A->1?
Unrelated, is EMC Bay PH a mini paint hangar?
Correct. EMC Bay PH is a full paint hangar.
