Boeing officially delivered the 200th 787 today to Qatar Airways. The delivery was made at Everett where the aircraft was assembled and tested. This aircraft is the 16th delivered to Qatar Airways and is the 86th Dreamliner delivered this year and the 7 delivered this month. Boeing delivered the 100th 787 on Nov. 4th, 2013 to Japan Airlines so it too just under one year to deliver the 200th 787. Qatar is expected to fly the aircraft away by tomorrow to Victorville, Ca.
If Boeing is able to maintain 10 deliveries per month then we should see the 300th 787 delivered around early to mid August 2015.

Any idea why they keep 2 empty bays of the EMC? LN12 and LN133 should be moved inside rather fast if they are planning to deliver it on schedule.

Finally there are three -9s in the air at the same time, two Air New Zealand's flying between Australia and New Zealand, and one United heading back to Los Angeles from Melbourne, Australia.
Uresh - The change in aircraft is substantial since yesterday.
Ready for delivery + pre-flight prep + production testing is 34 tonight while yesterday this total was 29. What caused the large change? It appears the (2) AirCan planes were added today.
Interesting that of the 34 planes above, only (7) are in Charleston. The rest are either in Everett (23) or in paint hangars in LA or CA (4).
Why so many in Everett?
Also, the Qatar LN (215) is listed as ready for delivery after only 2 flights, while historically they have required upwards of 7 and as many as 11. What caused this substantial decrease?
Uresh - FYI - The current production table is doubling up on some line numbers and they are also not in order.
There are (2) LN230, 232 and 235.
Also, LN 250 is listed between LN242 and 243.
Boeing had better step it up if they are to deliver 10 in Nov and Dec, as those month are packed full with holidays.
And we all know how things slow down at the Lazy B those months.
I would estimate closer to 7 or 8 those months.
offtop: has anyone heard of any non-OEM antenna installations on 787s?
(8) 787's have been delivered this month so I suspect they will carry (1) of the (3) "ready for delivery" over to November 1 to start the month off right.

Qatar says they took 3 787s and 1 777 on the same day. Line #225 must be delivered also.
They took 2 and only 2. A third is still in the middle of flight testing.
They only took delivery of 2. LN 225 is still at Paine Field undergoing testing!!!!

The reason QTR ZA476 (215) was "ready for delivery" was it completed its B-1 without any reflight squawks and flew a clean C-1 -- which some would call a miracle. Only 2 other PAE built QTR 787's have accomplished that feat. QTR's high flight average is due to several things -- flights to paint (CHS), poor paint, issues when correcting poor paint, flying CHS airplanes to PAE and of course QTR in general being a bit more picky than most (not without reason).
Coolguy, Why would you estimate Boeing will deliver 7-8 787s in November when they are flying 10 November deliveries now?
Historically the holidays have killed Boeing's deliveries. Hopefully this year they won't.
Dec. 2012 - Boeing delivered 12 787s
Dec. 2013 - Boeing delivered 11 787s

Any holiday related effects would hurt January more than December as far as deliveries are concerned. The factory slows but anything on the flight line that can be delivered does get delivered bringing in a lot of overtime (x2, x3)for the union guys. There's a rush to get everything done by the 23rd but really only Xmas eve, Xmas and New Years eve are sacred--so to speak.
Uresh, any guess as to why they positioned the 2 early builds onto Kilo South a couple of months ago then repositioned them back onto runway 11-29? Thanks

at best, 1coolguy1 is a troll. At worst... well I won't go there. If he were to actually look at the data he would see that Boeing's deliveries actually increase significantly in December.

Thirteen Everitt 787 built yet to fly and just one from Charleston as of today. I know I upset someone earlier with a similar post but it is a striking fact. It does not include the early builds either.

Hmmmm, Line 241 (AA's 1st) - Delivery Date sez 12-1, that's 3 days before it's first scheduled B-1.
Are the bays/positions in the EMC specific to certain functions? It sure seems like some airplanes get moved around to different spots a lot, sometimes even daily.
