Ok so here's a change from the usual 787 postings. I came a across these really cool animations of the Space Launch System. The first video show the individual umbilicals attached to the SLS and their functions during liftoff. The second video is an animation of the roll out and launch of the SLS. Enjoy!
Very cool. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeletePretty cool videos. But the SLS might be obsolete before it ever gets going if this thing comes to fruition:

I've read that their technologically advanced Sabre engines are even being looked at by commercial airlines.
According to Bloomberg Transaero cancelled their order in December
ReplyDeleteThey didn't cancel the order, they're not taking any early build aircraft. The order is still intact.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone heard who might be interested in these airframes? Some rumours here in Liverpool suggest Ryanair might be looking at one
ReplyDeleteUresh, thanks for these posts, the NASA animations are always cutting edge and amazing.
ReplyDeleteProbably a pipe-dream but would be cool if UA or AA took the Terribles cheap and used them for the PS/transcons.
Once again NASA will inspire a new generation of American scientist and engineers.
